Robert Macfarlane and Luke Adam Hawker

The first title in the trilogy, Firefly, explores the power of hope in a world of shadows and darkness.

Written in lyrical text and accompanied by Hawker’s spellbindingly detailed engravings, the book follows a light-seeking child who one winter night discovers a meadow illuminated by glow-worms: “fallen constellations” that shine like stars among the grasses, setting fears to flight.

Enchanting to read aloud and exquisite to hold in the hand, this book will ignite wonder and hope in readers young and old alike.
